Pharma Forum 2015: CSR success and Shining Star award!
ACCESS recently returned from a fantastic showing at Pharma Forum 2015 where ACCESS was the CSR activity sponsor at the show for the second year – and what an event it was! Hundreds of show attendees visited the CSR activity station in our booth to custom paint 250 pairs of TOMS shoes and “superhero capes” for children. At the end of the show the shoes and capes were donated to two local Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Washington D.C. area. For each of the 250 pairs of shoes we donated, TOMS donated another 250 shoes to underprivileged children as part of their ongoing “One for One” program.
For the second consecutive year, an ACCESS-produced program was presented with the Pharma Forum Shining Star Award! The award was co-presented to ACCESS and our client Genentech for a CSR program that involved 650 participants assembling 225 Care Packages for Military Families. The care package supplies were carefully chosen to help transition deployed service personnel back into family life. The attendees and participants were then introduced to an officer from one of the service branch charities, who accepted the care packages on behalf of the families.
At ACCESS, we consider Corporate Social Responsibility programs one of the most important things we do as an organization and for our clients. We find ourselves in the unique position of being able to take advantage of the innate desire within all of us to share meaningful, moving and inspiring experiences with others – for hundreds of groups and thousands of people. We invite you to take a few moments to review the CSR page on our website to learn more about the kinds of successful and meaningful experiences we can help create for you and your group.
